This 2021 Jaguar F-Pace SVR 575 (X761) Final Edition was purchased from Astorg Auto/Jaguar Charleston in West Virginia, sales consultant Doug Green and sales manager Brian Lister. This is 1 of 150 Final Edition F-Pace SVR 575 exclusively in Chalk Blue.
Jaguar decided to go all electric by 2025, as a result the F-Pace production ended in 2025. We really enjoy the V8 in my wife's Land Rover Defender and in my Jaguar F-Type, so I decided I needed one of the last V8 models made before Jaguar descends into electric only or out of business- same motor but tuned a bit different between models.
The SC V8 is the AJ133S.

Valentine 1 Gen2 radar detector (Owners Manual, Quick Start Guide, Programming Guide, Troubleshooting, How To Upgrade) hardwire installed using a Xislet Radar Detector Hardwire Power Cord Mirror Plug Tap with Inline Fuse from Amazon, I used the cord with the smallest pins.
Using the Bluetooth connection to the V1 from my Android phone with the JBV1 app adds a lot of useful functionality- Some discussion around the JBV1 app can be found HERE, helpful settings guide HERE.I had found several forum write-ups for hard wiring but the wire colors did not match what I had....so even after snapping off the lower cover and finding the Homelink connector, I decided to remove the upper cover (tricky since I had to slightly pull down, not remove, rear view mirror to remove and install the upper cover). Found the same plug that was in our Defender and used the same positions to tap (same positions as this THREAD)- if I had it to do over I would just use the Homelink plug to tap positions (not colors) as in this THREAD.
Was going to source a BlendMount like we have in some other vehicles but the windshield in the F-Type is solar attenuating so not optimal for the radar detector. Small area at top of windshield and to either side of mirror are designated clear spots for transmission (radar detectors, toll cards, etc.) where the black dots are, as detailed in these threads HERE, HERE, HERE, and HERE. I always trust but verify and found a local speed sign to conduct some testing, definite improvement in ability/range at clear area vs mirror mount so......will eventually replace suction cup mount with VHB semi-permanent mount.
NOTE: The following is provided for informational purposes only, user assumes all risks- YMMV. If your car has a gasoline/petrol particulate filter this will prevent the regens from occuring/completing and potentially burn up the valve that controls the regen function- good luck finding concrete info on the internet for US spec cars.....worst case, time for a tune and new downpipes. Search "does USA jaguar f-type have opf gpf ppf gasoline petrol particulate filter" for the answer of the day
Parts diagram for my 2021 does not seem to suggest USA got the GPF but...
Fuse 15, power for exhaust valve actuators- when removed you get the awesome sound all the time, keep the fuse in the glove box for times when a more subtle exhaust sound is desired
