The story behind the boat......purchased the boat in the summer of 2003 so the family could go out on the lake. I also had a buddy with a cruiser and this pontoon boat would serve as transport for camping/day supplies for us to set up on the beach. They say boats are a hole you can pour money into and this could have turned out like that, but I enjoyed it for the summer months and sold it in the fall for what I payed for it so it was free fun :-) Here is the ad I used to sell it, nice boat but I got tired of having to tow it, if I ever do the boat thing again I will have a slip at the marina.....
1998 Landau BT20 LX
$8999 or best offer
Here are some pictures of the best 20 foot pontoon/fishing boat out there, the two compartments at the front are a small live well and a cooler, the large live well is in front of the driver area. Water flow to the live wells are controlled by a toggle switch, the drain pipe can be removed to drain them entirely. I do not know how many hours are on this boat but looking at the physical condition of the prop alone would lead me to believe that it is not many, the prop is free of the scratches and paint loss that props suffer due to cavitation and use. The area under the sink is used to store the porta pottie and the collapsible changing area. The bimini top folds up and has a zip cover for storage, the boat also comes with a full mooring cover that covers the entire boat. The motor is a Force 90 hp 2 cycle by Mercury, it will get this boat to a top speed of 23 mph, fires right up and runs smoothly across all RPMs. For sound there are two marine speakers and an Alpine AM/FM/CD head unit. The mount you see on the drivers area in the pictures is for a Lowrance X22a depth guage and fish finder, great for locating all of the big fish. There is storage under the bench seat for a water tank to hook up to the sink and for life vests, anchors, ropes, etc. There is a rod/reel locker beside the drivers seat, this and the two rear compartments can be secured with padlocks. There is a detachable, fold up ladder that mounts to the floor beside the door, makes for ease of boarding for skiers/tubers/swimmers. The pontoons were just pressure-checked and are tight as a drum, boat is in fantastic shape. The trailer was just purchased as well and has not been registered yet, it is the deluxe trailer with tongue brakes and the breakaway braking safety feature, tows quite easily.
